What is a toro pool?

Toro pool is a traditional game of dodging or jumping over a bull released into an arena or paddock. It is especially popular in the south of France, particularly in the Camargue, and in Spain. The Toro pool was the origin of Intercities, a TV game show in which two cities competed against each other in a series of physical and playful events.

The toro pool takes place three times a week during the 2 summer months of July and August. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the Grau-du-Roi bullring.

The toro pool is an activity for adults and children aged 6 and over, guaranteeing 1h30 of laughter. Everyone can take part.
Who will stay on the bull as long as possible? Participants can also try their hand at acrobatics and styling effects, to make the experience even more fun.

Nevertheless, it’s important to take safety precautions when playing toro pool. Participants should always wear protective equipment and follow the instructions of qualified personnel to avoid injury.
