Our water park’s star attraction is undoubtedly the impressive slide, which promises laughter and thrills for young and old alike. Accessible under certain size conditions to guarantee children’s safety, it brings a touch of adrenalin to relaxing days. Our pools are the heart of a memorable aquatic experience that will enrich your stay in the Camargue! The water park is open from April to September, and one of the pools is heated throughout the season, guaranteeing a pleasant aquatic experience. Please note that swimming shorts are not permitted, in order to maintain a pleasant environment that complies with safety standards.

When is the best time to come to our campsite in Grau du Roi, by the sea?
Le Grau du Roi enjoys a sunny climate most of the year. To enjoy warm temperatures, ideal for swimming and water sports, the best period is from June to September. During this period, temperatures generally vary between 20°C and 30°C, with little rain. Water temperatures hover around 21°C during July and August.
If you prefer to avoid the crowds, June and September offer a quieter and more pleasant experience, especially outside school vacation periods. However, if you’re traveling with the family, note that most kids’ clubs are closed outside school vacations…

Parking in Grau du Roi varies according to the time of year. In winter, all the town’s parking lots are free, but some become chargeable between March 30 and November 13. However, if you drive a hybrid or electric vehicle, parking remains free all year round!
In high season, finding a free parking space can be difficult, especially in the town center. Parking lots are divided into 3 pay zones, with rates running from mid-May to early November.
To avoid parking charges, you can use the free parking lots outside the city center, although this may be further from the main attractions. You should also check the opening hours of paid parking lots, as some are free outside these hours.
What's summer traffic like in La Grande Motte and Le Grau du Roi?
Traffic can be quite heavy in La Grande Motte and Le Grau du Roi in summer, especially in the late morning and early afternoon. To avoid traffic jams, opt for alternative modes of transport such as bike hire or public transport. These options are ideal for discovering the city while avoiding the stress of traffic.
If you’re staying at Les Jardins de Tivoli Camargue campsite, the Espiguette beach is just a few kilometers away, so you can easily enjoy the seaside without having to travel by car. What’s more, during the high season, the campsite offers a free shuttle service to the Espiguette beach.
Where can I see flamingos from my campsite rental?
Flamingos are a real attraction in the Camargue! You can observe these magnificent birds just a few steps from your campsite, at the pointe de l’Espiguette, as well as around the Camargue campsite Les Jardins de Tivoli. The surrounding marshes are also an excellent place to observe them.
The highest concentration of pink flamingos is found in marshes, such as the Aigues-Mortes salt marshes and the Camargue ponds. For an even more immersive experience, you can also visit the Pont de Gau bird park nature reserve, 30 minutes from the campsite.
