are free in winter, some of them will become chargeable from March 30, 2023 to November 13, 2023! Do you drive a hybrid or electric vehicle? This doesn’t concern you! In Le Grau du Roi, parking is completely free for this type of vehicle.

During July and August, it can be difficult to find free parking spaces when driving out of your Grau-du-Roi campsite.

There are several options for free parking in Le Grau-du-Roi.

In the streets: There are free parking spaces in the streets of Le Grau-du-Roi, but they can be hard to find in high season. Be sure to check the parking signs to make sure you’re allowed to park there, and obey all parking regulations.

Out-of-town parking lots: There are free parking lots outside the city, but they can be a little far from the main attractions. However, this can be a good option if you have a car and want to avoid parking fees.

Parking outside opening hours: Some pay parking lots are not supervised outside opening hours, so it’s possible to park for free at night or on Sundays. Be sure to check opening hours before parking, and to observe all parking regulations.

In summer, traffic can be quite heavy in La Grande Motte and Le Grau du Roi due to the influx of tourists. So it’s best to avoid the rush hours of late morning and early afternoon.

To avoid this, use alternative modes of transport! Opt for bike rental or public transport to get around these coastal towns. Especially as parking lots can quickly become overcrowded, especially in high season.

What’s more, if you book at Les Jardins de Tivoli seaside campsite in Grau du Roi, the famous Espiguette beach is only a few hundred meters away!

If you’re lucky, you’ll find the answer at your Grau du Roi campsite! Pink flamingos are particularly common in and around the Pointe de l’Espiguette. You’ll be able to admire them at the 4-star Les Jardins de Tivoli campsite in Port Camargue Grau du Roi, just a few hundred meters from the Pointe de l’Espiguette.

The greatest concentration of pink flamingos, however, can be found in the marshes, such as the Aigues Mortes salt marshes, and the Camargue ponds.
