Le Petit Train des Salins, a tour of the Camargue between salt and sea

The Petit Train des Salins sets off from the medieval Gard town of Aigues-Mortes. With a departure point near Grau-du-Roi, it invites you to immerse yourself in the heart of a preserved ecosystem.

Let yourself be carried away by a landscape unique in Europe : 8,000 hectares of crystalline basins, where camelles (salt dunes) rub shoulders with waters tinted by Dunaliella Salina, an algae with pink pigments.

This tourist train, with its retro design and elegant white and blue hues, is made up of several open wagons, to guarantee a panoramic view of the wonders of the Camargue. With a capacity of 70 passengers, it promises an unforgettable journey between wild nature and ancestral know-how.
